Basically the lord is saying that he created the earth for us to use it as we please without any limitations on it. Sadly, race do jibe it like that. There is people who genuinely care precisely about themselves. They arent bothered by pollution or killing another species t hat is not human. As much as the bible says ! that we can use the earth for what we want, I sleek over sprightliness it is wrong. I feel like theres a reason we have so many species of animals and plants, and not just for our eating benefit. I feel that the lecture and the book gave both views of anthropocentrism. It introduced us as to what it was and then guided us through where it derived from and how it came to be.
